New York Metro Super Lawyers 2017 Recognizes Berke-Weiss Law PLLC Lawyers

Laurie Berke-Weiss from Berke-Weiss Law PLLC has been selected to the 2017 New York Super Lawyers list, and to the Top 50 Women: NY Metro List.  Ms. Berke-Weiss has been a Super Lawyers nominee since 2006, and on the Top 50 Women: NY Metro list since 2011.

Alexandra Berke has been selected to the 2017 New York Rising Stars list. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. This honor recognizes lawyers 40 years old or younger or in practice for ten years or less.

The three cases highlighted in this weeks’ FFCRA complaint roundup include two filed by plaintiffs working in restaurants and another from a plaintiff employed in food distribution. Because the entire food supply chain has been deemed essential, workers in the industry have little ability to leave work to care for sick family members or children since the childcare industry cratered.
