New York Metro Super Lawyers Recognizes all Berke-Weiss Law Attorneys

Berke-Weiss Law PLLC is excited to announce that all of our lawyers were recognized by Super Lawyers in 2019.

Laurie Berke-Weiss has been selected to the 2019 Top 100 Lawyers: NY Metro list, and to the 2019 Top 50 Women: NY Metro List. Ms. Berke-Weiss has been a Super Lawyers nominee since 2006, and on the Top 50 Women: NY Metro list since 2011.

Rosa Aliberti has been selected to the 2019 New York Rising Stars list.

Alexandra Berke has been selected to the 2019 New York Rising Stars list. Ms. Berke was also nominated to the 2017 and 2018 New York Rising Stars list. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. This honor recognizes lawyers 40 years old or younger or in practice for ten years or less.

Overall, we are beginning to see some patterns in the thematic nature of the complaints. Specifically, plaintiffs seem to be those whose employment has been terminated either after expressing concerns about workplace health and safety (e.g. improper distancing, lack of PPE, and not enforcing CDC-recommended quarantine procedures) and parents whose employment has been terminated because they were unable to locate appropriate childcare or family care.
