Alex Berke Interviewed for News 12 on Lawsuit Against Newburgh School District

Alex Berke recently appeared for an interview on News 12 with Blaise Gomez. In the May 11 appearance, she discusses the lawsuit she filed on behalf of her clients which details claims of sexual harassment and retaliation made against the school district and its former superintendent.

"My clients have experienced a lot of things that women who have been sexually harassed at work experience," Alex said. "They were harassed. It was upsetting. It was wrong. It was unlawful. Then, they reported it and rather than being supported through the process, they were retaliated against."

There was some decent news this week in the employment outlook, depending on how you look at it. The positive is that roughly 1.37 million jobs were added this week and the unemployment rate dropped to 8.4 percent. The negative is that nearly 20 million Americans remain unemployed and of those 1.37 million jobs added over 230,000 hires are census workers, who will be out of a job shortly.
