
Kacie Candela is an employment lawyer who provides advice and counsel on sexual harassment, disability accommodations, discrimination, and breach of contract.
Ms. Candela joined the firm from the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division’s Employment Litigation Section. During law school, she interned for the EEOC’s New York District Office and the Office of Chair Charlotte Burrows. Ms. Candela’s extensive federal experience informs her representation of employees through the EEOC investigation process.
Before becoming a lawyer, Ms. Candela was a radio and print journalist who could be heard delivering the news to New Yorkers on WFUV 90.7 FM. She also co-produced and co-hosted a podcast series on the history of sexual harassment by elected officials in Albany, which won an Edward R. Murrow Regional Award.
Ms. Candela is an adjunct professor of Employment Law and legal writing at the University of Baltimore School of Law. She also volunteers to guest judge and moot mock trial competition teams at Fordham University School of Law, her alma mater, as well as at American University Washington College of Law.
